Alex Ciardullo is a Baltimore based artist and organizer with a compassionate love of harm reduction and disability justice. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Alex graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2018. Since then Alex has been an apprentice for Bread and Puppet Theatre, performed and volunteered with Creative Alliance Halloween Lantern Parade, Black Cherry Puppet Theatre, Hinenu Baltimore, Mutual Obsession Circus, Submersive Productions and WeWiggleDolls. Using collage, performance, printmaking, and puppetry, Alex's work focuses on nostalgia, melancholy and grief. Often combining the three themes at once and trying to find comedic catharsis from everyday situations in life.
